Season Opener – 2LoCrew BBQ
Like every year, 2Lo Crew BBQ is a must if you are in the Montreal area for a kick start of every car season. Some of us had a hard season beginning but nothing is better than some burgers and beers to change your mind.
The most important part of any crew is not the necessarily the amount of money put in each cars or the quality of your wheels, as some may think. But rather the good time and conversation you can have with people who are actually there with you having a drink and discussing the next project or the mods they made over the winter.
Autobar was kind enough to let us having the BBQ there, even a mechanician in to work on the Subaru clutch. There was a wrapped e46 with a supercharged in one corner and a Subaru race car on the other. The kind of place where you can have a drink without counting the hours.
The best part about the first BBQ, we all spent the winter working on our car. Some of us haven’t finished it yet, while other just rolled their fresh whip in the lot.
What I love the most of the 2LoCrew is that you have to be a good person to be part of the Family. Not just a nice persone on the outside but a truly good persone on the inside. Somebody who cares about his family and also respect others for who they are, not what they should be.
It might not sound like much but lots of us in the scene get tired of the new flavor of the month and want to get attached to something greater, getting that feeling of belonging. Maybe any crew can give you this, but our family is the one we love and care about no matter what your driving.
